I recently joined Allstate india and my manager is forcing me to come to office twice a week. During negotiations, I had made it clear that I didn't want to work from office due to personal commitment.
Please suggest:
1. Is my understanding correct that Allstate india is currently not forcing employees to come to office and my manager is an exception?
2. How can I say no without pissing off the manager given I have just joined the company?

Dang I didn’t know we could go MIA as staff

Document the tasks you are delegating and copy the manager/director on emails.
If they have coaches, you should be chatting with them as well.

Report it to deployment. Ask for them to be reassigned
I am an associate. That happens to me, I have had to run deals and the director is MIA, and I only have the partner to ask for help (but of course, the partner is slammed, so can never really connect until the report is due).

You need to look for a job. That sounds toxic af from top to down.
Reach out to your resource manager
YES, you can't handle that entire load yourself. I'd give them an ultimatum and if they don't reply...well then it already sounds like it was over already.
I would definitely recommend calling someone....lol
