For which market / office are you asking about? I personally believe there is a greater difference in culture between offices than practice areas from experience working in/with a few.
Also for BCG, do you mean ‘DigitalBCG’ I.e. the technology functional practice area, known internally as TA (technology advantage), or are you asking about BCG Gamma, Platinion, Digital Ventures etc?
@PM1: I was about compound average bill rate with since digital arms development.
We all know that digital was protracting revenues. My question is rather to know that if embracing came with a bill rate reduction :)
We all know that Accenture’s business model is a bit guilty for its positioning with regards to the market evolution towards digital integration as we know it now.
To some extent, the historic segmentation between strategy/non-strategy or consulting/non-consulting is still a common representation while the demand evolved towards a more holistic offer.
That’s basically a question about the market offer consolidation’s impact regarding the average day rate.
McK = Top-down specialist
BCG = Bottom-up nerdy
Digital? = bottom-up approach
Yeah no, MBB doesn't do bottoms-up. It's antithetical to management consulting.
Hi, same interest here.
Isn’t TA the fastest growing segment?
Does it still hold true?
What about Paris office?
TA/Digital was consistently the fastest growing segment at BCG until last year, and is still in some markets yes.
Not sure specifically about Paris. I’m based in LAB (London Amsterdam Brussels) and it’s been a big growth area here, hence the increased hiring
Platinion is going to join TA soon.
@PM1: That’s what the strategic move towards Accenture’s model brings but also what market shift brought too.
