One of my coworkers isn't on top of his schedule. I don't think he even checks it. We are drivers in a supply chain management company, and this guy is contantly late to meet with our clients due to him not really checking in time where he needs to go. He keeps calling me to ask if I know, but it's really messing with my performance as I have to be aware of his whereabouts to avoid him messing up. Management won't do much about this. How can I make this situation better?

What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

I have a photographer/ videographer on my team who is amazingly talented at executing the work, but he has no larger creative ideas or vision, and totally shuts down when we try to push him. Has anyone ever successfully grown someone like this or is it a lost cause?

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time.
