I had IVF process to get pregnant. During pre- embryo transfer we were told that girl embryo is being transferred. Currently I am 18 week pregnant. Pregnant wife is having small portion meals lately, so i asked why she is eating less than usual. She read somewhere that eating too much can lead to oversized baby, making the delivery more painful, so it looks like she may be controlling the portion because of this. First trimester insomnia?
I’m only about 5 weeks, but my sleep schedule has gone off the rail the last three nights. I’m sleepy/drowsy, settled in bed around the same time every night, and yet I cannot fall or stay asleep. I have a white noise machine, comfy bed, cool room.. etc. When I do fall asleep, it’s earlier in the morning and I sleep until 1/1:30pm. This was fine the first few nights since it was the weekend, but it can’t keep up. Anyone else experience this and have any recommendations?

6’0 and weighed in at 220lbs today. All time high and have gained 20lbs since gyms closed in March. When I did workout it was more or less 100% compound lifts. I'm starting to realize that a lot of my life problems are from me trying to treat my depression with alcohol. This is the most sober I've been in a long time and generally I feel a lot better but it would be so easy to get drunk. Physically the consequences are what are keeping me from doing it. It makes me feel really good though and I miss the high, I am grateful that I can resist it now but at least temporarily it was a cure that worked it made me feel accepted and whole.
