I have gotten a verbal offer from Facebook, but I just had my phone screen interview with the hiring manager at Amazon yesterday. Has anyone dealt with a lack of praise from attorneys? I'm not someone who needs to hear "good job" all the time, but we just got a huge deal closed that I worked really hard on and had a lot of overtime. Graduated in 2020, wanted to be a graphic designer, took a job at a startup in a social media role. The boss called me the "r" word for not handling entire 13-ish accounts roster well by myself. I quit. Found a role as social media specialist. Realized (again) that I hate social media. Moved to in-house mktg manager, only to be a glorified graphic designer / someone to call the city to cut down trees. I job hopped too much, I feel my portfolio is empty. How do I restart again? I feel defeated.
