I have got offers from SAPIENS and NETCRACKER for the Position of Java developer. Both are giving almost same CTC of 26 LPA.
Kindly help me with your suggestions for the organization to join in terms of better opportunities and growth.

How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.

Split on the value of MBA. I am a Big4 Consulting Manager, (5 YOE, 2 of those at Manager level). I’ve progressed fast without MBA to this point, and MBA hires come in to my firm as Seniors which is below my level (appreciate they get paid more). I want to transition to industry. Is there value in me doing a MBA? I have no debt, so would be nervous taking on so much in student loans but I am trying to play the long game here. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Those who applied to JD or MBA (current interest in former) while working full time... What did the process look like and what was the timeline for you? How was studying for LSAT/GRE/GMAT and doing apps while doing consulting work? How did it turn out?? I don’t know anyone going through the process and could really benefit learning your experiences, what to expect and what not. Thank you in advance!!

I’ve been working at Deloitte (federal) for 4 months now at the analyst level doing the typical analyst work, like building decks. The original company I wanted to work for had to rescind my offer back in March due to COVID. They’re hiring again and want me to join. It’s a boutique consulting firm, I’ll be apart of the cyber risk team. Which was what I originally wanted to do.

My questions are:
should I take the offer if the pay is the same?
