If youre interested still just say ok and see how ot plays out. But its a weird sign...if they really liked you they wouldnt want to risk alienating you so clearly they aren't THAT in love with you.

“hey i had a fun time in our date but in terms of scheduling, i have other dates line up. happy to try to make time” - how you respond to this is the same way you should respond to your situation

I wouldn’t take it personally. Respond with grace. In two weeks, you might still be the top contender but not if you react poorly.
Likely a sign that their decision-making process is disjointed and uncoordinated, and perhaps indicating a power struggle. Who is really in charge here?
Tell them thanks but no thanks
I would feel disrespected. Move on.
This is an awkward degree/kind of transparency. Not sure what that means to what you could expect from the firm as an employer.
Take it with gave but this isn't a good sign. Of they thought you were great, they wouldn't want to keep looking at others.
If you don’t hear after interview within one week that means the chances are minimal. Keep looking. Move on emotionally.
Keep looking. They have someone else in mind.
Some employers will insert artificial setbacks into the hiring process, to see how the candidate deals with adverse situations.
But I saw this post about the employer asking for an extra two weeks about two weeks after the initial post. OP, can you share an update?
Sure. Unfortunately decided to hire someone else. Told me the new person had reached out only a few days before I was scheduled to come down, and they had a previous relationship with this person. All good, I got a higher paying gig anyway
