Wtf is engagement manager, that isnt even a level at D
I'd say this is reasonable for F500 director in retail, tech, etc. (not hospitality), but maybe slightly on the high end.
Check out the Charles Aris report
Depends on the industry.
Your base might not move much at all but you can still get a big raise with equity. At the director level and up often times equity starts making up larger and larger portions of total comp. I was offered a F500 director role with a 155k base but $30k in equity in addition to bonus.
D1.. same as M. EM is kind of the industry parlance per some of the discussions I have had with head hunters. Had an introductory discussion with this company for a Director of strategy position. Hence wanted to take some thought from you guys on what to ask if/when the question comes.
Thanks Bcg 1&2.. helpful context. I did look at the report. Seemed at par at the high end. But was not sure if that's what you guys are actually seeing at the market place.
Good luck op!!
May be helpful to check out MBBexits.com to start exploring roles...they're an aggregator. A friend of mine identified his current director role there. It pays 200+, and he left MCK as a C (bravado/confidence on deck). If you have the goods there are no rules.
Thanks BCG3 that's helpful input. Will definitely look at that.
