I think you should be fine, book the mom in Business

I don’t believe they will let you. Also, why don’t you both fly coach and travel together? The benefits of traveling together while with an infant might outweigh the comfort of one of you chilling in business class. Maybe just save the extra points for another trip?
I understand. So then whomever gets business gets the infant. I would pay the extra cost of the 10% just in case. It would be very unfair to the spouse in coach to be “stuck” with the child.
If you can only afford xyz, why exactly are you doing this? Spending to the max of your means with an infant doesn’t sound like the right move. Open a 529 and put it towards that, it will pay off and will be better than traveling 30+ hours with an infant.
A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged savings plan designed to encourage saving for future education costs. 529 plans, legally known as “qualified tuition plans,” are sponsored by states, state agencies, or educational institutions and are authorized by Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code.

I would opt for booking all three of you in Premium Economy. Typically very affordable and good on price and accommodating for infants. Most international flights have options for lap infants to sleep in a secure bassinet that’s not typically advertised online but require you to call and book. Almost always available. We do this all the time. Recommend calling the airline.
Speechless. Only one can fly business, so has to be you?
Yes. Baby has to be with me. We are flying 30+ hrs total so trying to be as comfortable as possible. Btw I am the mom. Any problem ?

I would recommend booking seats together. We just traveled internationally with our lap child, it was a mess, passed her back and forth for the last 2 hours
Heard someone say they bought baby a sit and used the car seat and it was easier than lap
A lot of international airlines have bassinets for infants to sleep in that are made for the bulkhead economy seat. Might be the easiest option for the both of you.
