I still couldn't tell you what Platinion does to be honest, 2 years after I started working at BCG
Jesus. That's what i feared.
They are good at what they do. Activist PMO, implementation, risk management etc.
Platinion's front page: "FAQ: How does the interview process look like?"
They are a bunch of contractors (quants, PMs etc) sitting in the BCG building and run by two clowns. Interviewed with them at one point - they weren’t interested in recruiting, but were trying to get market intel during the interview. Don’t think they are anywhere close to BCG by way of perception, prestige etc.
What the heck is Platinion?
I interviewed with them before and they asked me what their job description should be drafted (this is as of last year )
Have done some joint pitches
BCGs way of going downstream. Like McKinsey BTO but a little bit further into architecture and project execution management.
Solid people. Brand is not anywhere near typical BCG though.
M1 probably has it wrong. Doubtful we’d interview people to get intel it would be a waste of time.
Platinion helps us enrich projects where we need some hard core tech expertise. They’re good, but very different from BCG type of work
