Please help! I got selected at Deloitte. They sent an offer for 8.3 LPA without salary discussion, but my current CTC is 8.5. I told HR my expected CTC is 12. She said that’s not possible but asked me to resign and said salary will be discussed 5–6 days before joining. Is this normal? Can I ask to finalize salary now or will that risk rejection? Not sure if I should trust this or wait.
