I’m drawn to 1 as it offers a different exposure. I hope I'll be more versatile, as offer 2 is similar to my current role. However, I’m concerned that e-commerce may be viewed as "inferior, not tech enough".I previously worked in SaaS/platform. TIA!!

Took my first ever sick day today on account of my very poor and worsening mental health. Just could not bring myself to put in another 14 hour day with back to back meetings and constant activity. Felt very guilty but I honestly wish I could be more honest and actually share with my manager about why I took a day off.

Has anyone received equity as contingency comp? I have a potential client with a founders dispute. He doesn’t have cash, and the other founder ripped him off and is now running the company. He wants to sue for equity and wants to pay me with whatever equity he wins. I’ve never done a deal like that. Is that even enforceable? CA law. The startup is actually quite promising.
