Deloitte has historically been the best in this space, but Accenture is investing HEAVILY here
They all play in the same sandbox. Choose the one where you get the best offer.
I think growth potential is not just about performance and company but also what level you're already at (obviously if the talent model is a pyramid the higher you go the fewer potential opportunities there will be). I would say I never got the impression as a former candidate that PwC was interested in me as a human being let alone my growth, whereas Deloitte is dedicated to the employee experience and provides very clear paths to growth for me as a consultant. Good luck, and I hope you love wherever you end up!
Super frustrating, D1, both for you and for me, given how many openings we are working to fill! Sorry about the bad experience. As I advise clients on employee (and candidate) experience, it does feel a bit hypocritical when I hear these stories…
Back to OP, definitely take your interviewers at all these firms up on the opportunity to talk with others in the practice, if they offer, including at the level you would be joining.
Deloitte & Accenture
Accenture HRT on the Strategy side or on the Management Consultig side?
The HRT that sits in S&C … it’s really one group that we go to.
Same office location? One thing that may shift things is the quality / type of the clients which may be implied by office location.
My experience in Workforce Transformation is that office is largely irrelevant. I’m based in an office with limited WT presence, but I staff teams with national resources. So I wouldn’t worry about office specifics for PwC. Long story short, we have been killing it, and I’m seeing nothing but incredible growth going forward.
Do you mean HR consulting?
I'm not sure about the other two but Accenture really has a strong practice. Applied Intelligence (S&C) group specifically does a lot of transformation work both internal and client facing and their maturity is no less than typical value insights/data science/engineering teams. I have been pleasantly surprised at multiple occasion by their work quality. Progressions are quick.
