New to gds. is today salary day? Or tomorrow?
Hey Everyone,
I am doing a part time MBA program and for one of the coursework I am trying to understand the challenges people faced while transitioning from WFH to Back to office model.
I've created a small questionnaire and will really appreciate if you can spare 10 minutes of your time for the same.

What do you want help with? Only you know how much you value fully remote. I assume there are other variables other than salary and work location. Which would you find more interesting? Which has a better career path? What is your ultimate goal and which better helps you get there?
Hope you never work somewhere with really bad benefits then, because PWC and EY and probably the other big 4 are not bad.
I would value remote more than the salary increase personally, but I have a baby on the way, so flexibility and extra time with him is of more value to me than the extra pay. And I love working from home - able to go to the gym in the middle of the day and get stuff done around the house when I take a break.
Depends what you value more.
Take option B and work towards a promotion. Working remotely takea away the chance of being promoted. Your boss needs to know you are talented but don't be the eager beaver.
It depends on your need..!
Hi there! Choose Option B, no doubt. You can still conciliate 2 days work remotely to care of your stuff at home, eventually. Good luck!
Absolutely Option B. Once you’ve built up rapport you could potentially go back to full time remote or strike a deal that if you want to travel you can make it up with more in person days the rest of the year
go where the $$$ is. what i’ve noticed with firms that advertise for fully on-site/hybrid positions is that they are remote a good 60% of times and are very flexible with it… or at least that’s been my experience. my position was meant to be fully on-site, but i work from home 2-3 times out of the week. sometimes our team works the entire week from home. i accepted an offer with another company that said it was fully on-site, but the managers said they work from home often. i’m starting to wonder whether they say it’s on-site to weed out the people that just want benefits of remote or something, idk
I take in person over remote any day so option 2 haha
You can also try to work your way into working remote as you gain more experience.
While pushing to get that 60k raise would be a lot haha
For me; I’d have to decide what’s more important. Am I ok with hybrid & do I need/want the extra money more? Do I prefer the wfh for my self more?
