Can someone suggest if fixed pay is fair or low or high according to current standards. If it's low, how high should I quote to HR Bajaj Finance

What do you want help with? Only you know how much you value fully remote. I assume there are other variables other than salary and work location. Which would you find more interesting? Which has a better career path? What is your ultimate goal and which better helps you get there?
Hope you never work somewhere with really bad benefits then, because PWC and EY and probably the other big 4 are not bad.
I would value remote more than the salary increase personally, but I have a baby on the way, so flexibility and extra time with him is of more value to me than the extra pay. And I love working from home - able to go to the gym in the middle of the day and get stuff done around the house when I take a break.
Depends what you value more.

B, money talks
How is this even a question
A 15 minute commute isn't bad. I would choose option B and take the substantial bump in pay. I completely understand the appeal of WFH five days a week (I have been searching for a position like this for months) but you will still be able to WFH two days a week which is nice!
B no question. 15 minute commute for 70% increase? Where can I sign up?
Take the money and go in 3x. You may be able to only go in 2x a week if your boss is cool and you’re good at what you do. That’s what I did.
Choice of the 💵 or working remote. Your choice!
Don’t be stupid. Go with B. Or if you are stupid go with A 🤣
Don’t just think about the short-term but long term. 160K position can be levered to 200K offer down the line
Rising Star
Assuming 26 pay periods ask yourself if ~1300-1400 after tax dollars more per pay check is enticing. To me it’s a no brainer. But everyone values different things. Flexibility may be more important to you and I see no issue with that if that’s where your heart lies.
B no brainer
B, 20-30k would be a different story.
Damn, on the job posting, fully remote is paying less than those onsite or hybrid😢😢😢😭😭why? We are doing the same thing.
No, this is about work ethic. I’m currently working remotely for two years. I’m always available on my business core hours on Teams. My supervisors are satisfied with my work and have no problem with it.
Money always take the money
Option B.
How much of a comute each day? Both time and stress levels need to be considered imo
If you’re still early in your career I’d say you should still take it, you’ll be able to leverage it much better in the long run but that’s assuming the company that offered it looks healthy and you won’t want to leave within a year.
Then again the most important part is how you feel. Even in an HCOL area 100k isn’t bad if you’re on your own so if you’re comfortable with your current position and work life balance and you don’t think your job security is at risk then by all means stay. Money is one thing but health comes first.
Imagine this… you decline and stay and then lets say your company announces RTO 2 days a week… how are you gonna feel?
You would have to give me a six figure increase to give up remote. It may say hybrid. But a lot of those jobs are the first to go fully in person. 60k is a big increase. But so is cost of gas three times per week. So is increased mileage on your car. So is the time have to travel to and from work. Need to ask yourself if you are willing to go I full time or if they dictate your three days per week are M/W/F.
I AGREE with this so much!
B I also think you will grow as a professional by going into office a bit more. Don’t want to sound like a boomer partner but I genuinely think going in 2 days a week enhances some skills that you don’t get to work on while working remote. Includes the soft skills, people skills, just general management skills and just listening to partners talk around you helps in my opinion. 60k on top of that just sounds amazing to me.
Tenure is something to think about and flexibility. If you have kids or a crazy schedule with family and the lesser pay doesn't bother you then consider keeping it. More money is always good but I would see how the culture is rated before moving.
Bet company B will be more remote than you think
