I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…

I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant.
