People definitely need to taught when to adapt. There is no reason to remain rigid in your application of a framework. No two situations are the same and that's why we need to stay on our toes and know when to make changes and what changes are acceptable.
This opinion is very popular with me. Following a process to the letter ad nauseam is a great way to ensure your team and work never evolves. Having situation specific frameworks and general best practices is fine, organizational inflexibility is not.
Agree - while frameworks can add value, it can also force us to think in the box. New problems need new solutions and you cant apply the same tactics to everything
Especially in marketing where the idea is to be creative and think outside the box. Too many leaders find one thing going well in a company and stick with it until the wheels fall off.
I think people are afraid to take risks, but my motto is no risk no reward. You have to take some losses if you really want to win big.
