Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Same except I’ve never had a kid lmao I’m just old and over work. I’m done with trying and promotions and everything. Btw I’m 28 lol
are you me
Why do you have to make it known? You have to figure out how to do enough work with this realization but not get fired.
Yeah don’t actually say this to anybody…
It’s not work ethic…it’s different priorities. You don’t have to make it known. Just start setting boundaries with your time and keep doing your best otherwise.
While I agree with your priorities, unfortunately they won't necessarily be relevant to others. So it's on you to time-box your commitments.
Clearly there are more ways than 1 to interpret things. That may not be what you meant (which I can appreciate), it was what I heard so I’m glad we could clarify! Communication is a 2-way street

Oh, it’s cool, the rest of us don’t mind picking up your slack😑

You find ways to be more productive in less time- it’s growth. And also get really good at saying no.
In this boat too
Really interesting to read all the responses to OP. Life isn’t the same - nor should it be. But as Principal said, you really just need to get good at saying no. And if that becomes an issue, raise it with direct managers to work out a different schedule or reduce workload. And frankly if they’re not up to that task of helping you continue down your professional journey, then it’s their loss. In this day and age, leaders just need to be more mindful and learn to adapt. It’s not the 50s, single income families aren’t the norm, and we don’t have 3 nannies on hand.
In the same vein, you need to figure out your own priorities. Maybe you do need to reduce your workload and be okay with less comp. for a year or two. You shouldn’t be expected to do it all, but at the same time, you need to accept that you can’t do it all.
