Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Can you go onto your partner’s insurance?
You can get cobra if you quit and stay on your current plan. It’s probably better than what else is out there. You’ll have for 18 months.

My coworker gets his insurance for him, his wife + kids through the healthcare marketplace because it’s less expensive for him then what our agency offers. You can use the site to compare costs without committing to anything.
But yeah, If you can get added to your partners then that’s *probably* the least expensive option (or atleast the easiest).
I feel you on this so hard. Eagerly waiting for someone to have an answer! My partner’s insurance is insanely more expensive that mine.
