What should be the salary expectation for a senior software engineer role in bolt, Estonia.
I am currently at CTC of around 45 LPA in banglore in a growing company and trying to figure out if it is wise to go to another country especially considering the layoffs and potential global economic slowdown.

What’s the best way to negotiate more money during a contract to FTE conversion? My manager and I had the conversion convo today and he said he’d like to convert me immediately and took the action item to do so. In terms of comp he said they should already have what I’m expecting but I don’t think I communicated any FTE number to my contracting company. In this job market with all the layoffs, should I count my blessings and take what I can get or is there wiggle room.

Does anyone think it’s weird that my firm is bending over backwards to try to keep a first year staff from leaving the firm after she was rated a 2 this year. But now she’s trying to leave and they keep trying to push her to stay saying she can be a partner in 8-9 years and laying it all out in detail. The issue is they laid off other staff (all but her) so maybe that’s it? Find it very odd.

I'm a fresh grad and I thought this would be my dream job... I became the 3rd team member in this location and the regional team leader helped me understand and learned a lot... Until about 4 months down the line, he announced to quit. It's about half of year now since I started to feel ever so alone, hopeless and helpless in the team. I moved to USA in 2017 on F1 visa. I was not selected for H1-B in the 3 years of my OPT. While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. The thought of moving to another country in a couple of months is causing a lot of anxiety and tough luck with the lottery is making me feel depressed.

Is there something against doing back to back offers at PwC or any of the other big four? I have two accepted offers with PwC next summer and would love to do both if the dates don't overlap (internship and a Masters fellowship). Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.
