PwC is in process of filing my perm (phase 4 eta 9089 prep). So I don’t have the i140 yet. I have roughly 13 months left on my h1b. If I take an extended leave like short term disability for 2 months will that affect the perm application and/or visa status in any way ? Has anyone been through a similar situation?

I'm hearing from my husband's company if he takes pat leave, and leaves shortly after returning, he'd have to repay the wages paid while out on leave. Well, I’ve about had it and am ready to go off. I’m sick of basically being told that I’m not doing my job. How should I address this issue?

Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.
