PwC is there any supply chain consulting at PwC outside the Pharma and Life sciences space? Can you get into Supply chain consulting at Pwc without prior healthcare industry experience? I have MBA + military supply chain, civilian internet infrastructure supply chain, and software engineering experience.

I am currently covering for someone on paternity leave. This means I've doubled the Sales Managers I'm supporting as well as the clients I'm supporting. I don't mind doing the work but I'd like to ask to be compensated for the increased workload. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you go about it? I'm relatively new to Tech so I'm not sure how to start the conversation.

I've go an offer for a position as an SRE at Google Dublin. Even though I'll be losing some base salary, and a level from where I am at Microsoft, I'm considering moving. However, I was hoping somebody working at Google in Dublin could share which benefits you have to compare with (currently at Microsoft we have health insurance, life insurance, pension plan, subsidized meals).
Also, does anybody know if Google Dublin pays for the on call?

Anyone has experience negotiating a medical bill with MGH. I got some blood work done and was sent a bill of 1800. The bill was 2700 but negotiated rate with my insurance is 1800. I got the exact same blood work done in NC 2 years back and it cost me <200. My insurance said i should have gone to labcorp. I am new to Boston and didn't know this. MGH says prices are higher as we are a teaching hospital. It's just open loot and does not make sense. Anyone dealt with a similar situation.

I am in the customer service and sales side of travel insurance, and I am looking for a new job, possibly in another field. A much larger company purchased us 2 years ago, and over the last 6 months I have lost 2 designations, one as an advocate, which was my most rewarding. I was told that it had nothing to do with my performance. Any suggestions on how to obtain a position in another area? Such as going from strictly customer service and sales to advocate and claims? Is the Workday Payroll Certification really worth it?

Especially considering you can make a similar amount of money doing the other core HCM modules without having to learn about the Practitioner side of things in Payroll.

Also, if you want to exit to an internal role, 9/10 job openings that I see do not even list payroll as a requirement but you'll always see the core modules+ Absence & TT.

Will a pinched nerve under your shoulder blade, and elbow ever get fully recovered? Has anyone's? As long as I continue to stay working in tech on the computer, I feel like it's just gonna stay this way. Hate to even think this, but I feel like I might need to step away eventually. Even with PT for the last 3 years, I'm still in pain, numb and uncomfortable. On weekends now, I'm intentionally staying off the computer and my shoulder is less tight, but once M-F comes around, it's a cycle
