I saw someone with 2 yrs experience getting around 12lpa for Technical Support Engineer in MS.

Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. Longest you ever waited for an offer letter? I’ve met with a total of 5 people including the partner in charge and accepted the verbal. It’s been a little over two weeks since hearing back. They touched base with me a couple times saying it needs approval but starting to lose hope.
