If you are a good manager you will make the time for team building. Do it during work hours if you cannot make the time after work. People leave jobs because of their bosses and this is one way to show you care.

... I'm a mom and don't have tons of free time to socialize but feel bad for my team. Mom guilt bundled with team guilt.

OP: the best way is to consider their wants/needs, and offer to fulfill sone of them. You may have to investigate a bit and listen to them carefully. It could simply be occasional team lunches. Maybe these can be celebrations? Ask them to vote for places to get lunch from. Could be they need advice that you wish you received when you were a junior. 😀

When a recruiter emails you at work, how do you respond? I feel like it’s stupid to use my firm email for that, but it seems like when I forward to my personal email and reply there, I never get a response?

I have a friend I used to be close with but we’ve grown apart over the years. She hasn’t worked in several years yet supports herself in NYC, focusing most of her energy on dating. Only wealthy men. Recently she had a fling w a guy for a couple months and got pregnant. They had a huge fight and broke up, she was distraught, and I impulsively offered to fly to NY for her abortion so she wouldn’t have to be alone. Then I found out she basically blackmailed him to pay her almost $100k (contd)

Hi, I have a PE case study interview in the coming week and was wondering whether there's an accepted rule for modelling returns - should you use the FY21E figure (assuming some rationale to the run rate) or just use the most recent actual? Motivation for asking is partly as I know lots of deals are being traded off forward EBITDAs so thought maybe using the next year expected figure would be common? Thanks in advance!
