For instance, say you live 20 mi from your home office one way. You travel to another city and have to drive 50 total miles. Do you still take out the 40 miles daily?
I ask because I was talking with someone about the pros/cons of driving your car vs renting. I have always taken out the mileage like I would in my home city, but they brought up a good point about how you can expense all gas while you are on your trip with renting and policy never calls out mileage expenses while driving your car in another city
Yes it does I read it a few weeks ago
Just submit the total amount if they question it say you take a different route thats longer due to traffic or something, can't imagine they would nickel and dime you over something so trivial
Where was it, and what did it say? I guess I missed it, but would love it if you pointed me in the right direction
Too close of a client to rent a car. Total BS
It’s under expense policies in mykcurve
