Question about working from home. When COVID hit, Tech brought over computers and help us set up. The point is it was their Tech gear. 1) if working for a call center remotely is it preferable to be able to make or to receive calls 2) realistically starting from scratch how much can I expect to have to pay for midrange equipment? 3) Would having my own equipment tip the scales about working for a company . Anyone familiar with Covid Supplemental Paid Sick Leave in CA? Does having planned time off nullify a full time employee’s ability to use the C19 sick leave if they become sick just prior to the planned time off? (I’ve only been able to find references to eligibility being based off of hours work preceding C19 sick leave - nothing about planned time off)

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

Has any firm in Canada reverted back from salary freezes during Covid? Aka gone back to pre-COVID salary bands. This question may be more for the strategy shops....I.e. Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons.
