Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Not a recruiter, but if you’re talking about LinkedIn I always heard that the “100 applicants” are actually just how many people viewed the job listing.
This is correct. Don't let it deter you.
Not very many. Typically 10% of applicants are qualified, especially the first few days after it’s posted.
Agree at or under 10% depending on the level and prescriptiveness of hiring team.
I just had like 50 people applied and got only 1 qualified candidate
Normally, very low but depends on discipline, job level and requirements. In a normal market ~ 5% but in this market, with so many people being laid off (every day a new lay off), there’s an abundance of qualified candidates applying to posted roles.
