Question for Microsoft folks: I see several Senior Product Manager roles I’m interested in that are actively being recruited for. 1. Should I get a referral before or after applying? 2. I have about 8 years of experience and an MBA, which should I emphasize more to get the highest level on the offer?

I am worried that I am going to be put on a pip and I have 1 year of Big 4 experience. Is it going to be difficult to find a internal audit role with only 1 year of public account experience? Thanks!

A person who i know him got an offer letter from TCS they even scheduled for onboarding for last mondays then suddenly on Sunday evening they sent a mail stating that onboarding has postponed will update later after getting approval. What is this will some one sends offer letter without any approval. What is his position now can he wait or is it better to go for other options.
It's been above one week and no status on it till today.

I am currently working as an entry level claims adjuster. I am just about done with onboarding and I am interested in growing and earning more. I’m relatively young (30) and I want to make a good career for myself. My current salary is 50K and I am curious what growth is available financially. Hi all! I picked up a part time job as “computer support” a few months ago and have since found myself doing a lot more than anticipated. I handle installation and maintenance of Burglar systems, access control, video surveillance, network systems, POS workstations, VoIP, and payment terminals. I took the job with no “formal” education in tech. My “trainer” at the company was a joke, I basically taught myself everything. What do you think would be a reasonable hourly pay for such a person?

Does it make sense to not ever buy a place in the Bay Area and just invest the money in SPY, and keep my RSU, maximize my ESSP and 401k?
