Question: In August I was promoted to LAO and when I did, I created a new development goal. This was about a month ago. The other day BM asked me to create another one even though I just did, he told me set the goal as BM Trainee, which was odd because they don’t police our goals. After I made it, he asked me to select “in progress”. I didn’t set a completion date but the next day my Market Director changed the completion date to 9/29/24. I’ve only been at Chase 2 years. What does this mean?

Planning to do a PRM or FRM qual. How useful is it to move from Big 4 Risk and reg consulting to industry? Finding it hard to get anything other than non-PM roles

I work with great people. Really can’t say anything bad about my firm in general either. But…I still dislike the entire premise of law firm life, the billable hour, etc.. I’d love to work in a law school setting as a counselor or something but I can’t afford the pay cut. *sigh* Does anyone feel like being a lawyer is just doing homework all day? First world problems I suppose. I’m very thankful to have a job ❤️
