Hi fishes, i am currently working in cloud strategy domain and looking to move from Consulting to Industry. I don't have hands on cloud delivery experience hence unable to follow the cloud engineering track. Please suggest what could be some exit opportunities for me. YOE: 3 post MBA Total: 4
Should a DevOps Cloud Engineer with 2 years experience earning around 10 LPA (base salary) in a Fortune 200, switch to a startup which pays almost 20 LPA base salary? The reason to ask this question is, wouldn't it be difficult at the time of second switch, to move to another big organisation after one is already at 20-24 LPA with just 3-4 years of experience at a startup? All thoughts are welcome.

Currently a M7 PhD student. Former Big 4 consultant and veteran. Want to go back into consulting (preferably strategy). I have an Ivy Master’s. Would a MBA be silly if this is my goal?
How does MBB MBA sponsorship differ? I had heard Bain pays the school directly (non-taxed) whereas M/B don't? Resulting in a substantial ($30-80K) difference?

Is it so wrong to want to specialize in a certain area of corp fin after reaching a comfortable point in your career? Being on the "CFO track" and avoiding "pidgeon-holing" are terms used by management to pressure employees into taking roles they don't have an interest in. I get the theory behind it, but it's not a one-size fits all. I think ideally it can cultivate a finance leader for the future, but more realistically/frequently it leads to disassociation and burnout.
