Paul went on IG Live this afternoon after Karine called the police. I have not watched the video, but bloggers report that Paul accused Karine of drinking in front of their son, domestic violence (shoving him), giving him an STD, and being pregnant again. The video ends with Karine asking to be taken to a shelter. Very sad.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

$5 is what we did for the first one
We gave a couple dollar bills and some chocolate coins. I think he liked the chocolate best.
I put glitter spray on a few $1 bills and call it a day
Cute!
Don’t over think it, in a year or so you’re going to be raiding the same kid’s piggy bank to put $$ under the pillow bc you forgot to get change.
I think we started with coins and then went up.
I settled on 5 x $1s so they could have fun counting it 😁 thanks for the input!
$1. We do 1$ coins
Yes - 1 to 5. And don’t worry about keeping up with any Joneses. Teach them the value of money early. And (we also hope) you can joke about your logic/frugality when they’re older.
A few one dollar bills bc
it’s a lot of money to a little one lol
We did a $2 bill for every single tooth. Something different and special.

I can’t tell if this is satire???? I’m like laughing with you but then I’m like wait she’s serious. It’s so freekin cute if you are.
First of all, tooth fairies are made up
Why can’t you just give a few dollars? I can’t imagine your kid understands the value of money yet? You can also do some cute little prize.
I came to ask this question and found this thread. It’s so serious! My toddler, who is nowhere close to losing teeth, came home from school this week and said he needed a pillow for the tooth fairy so he could get rich. We’ve never mentioned the tooth fairy. Like what?????
We are military family. And have bits of money from different countries.
We put one of under the pillow and tell the kids what country it’s from. Then we have them research the country, learn a bit of the customs, what foods they are known for, and what the country looks like .
It’s fun and they also learn the value of it in US dollars.
I did $5 for the first one, and then I got a stack of $2 bills and $1 gold coins and kept them in a safe place so I’d always have it handy and gave $1 coin for a normal tooth and a $2 bill for molars and front teeth. Last tooth I gave $5 and folded origami shape with it.
My daughter stayed at my friend’s house and lost her tooth there and she gave a $20 for the tooth! Would have been great if she asked me, but my daughter was very jealous of her daughters who got a lot more money from the tooth fairy at their house. Oh well.
Good luck!
Each of my kids think they have a different tooth fairy cause they all got different experiences. Lol
I would say depends on your child's developmental stage and personality. Maybe see it as an opportunity for them to learn about money. Maybe you can ask them what they plan to do with their money. Buy something small now, or perhaps save up to buy something? Do they have a piggy bank? Or maybe they could think about giving to those who are in need?
Lol am I overthinking this?
well OP noted this is their first tooth loss and that happens around age 6. anytime is as good as any but my kids honestly got excited but weren't even paying attention to it and just sat there with their other toys lol
I used to put a coin from a different country each time (I have a bunch due to intl travel for both work and family). So every time it was a tooth fairy who visited from another country :)
Just go with $20. It’s the most likely bill you’ll have on hand.
