Anyone ever grew up having a hard relationship with their mom ? Did your relationship get better with her as you got older ?

My husband and I are going to start trying soon and are trying to get on the same page regarding childcare. I suggested daycare but my husband says he absolutely doesn’t want a “stranger” watching our child. Instead, he wants our moms to watch our child. My mom doesn’t have the best health and can’t really be relied on so that leaves his mom. I’ve said for years that I don’t want our moms to be our childcare. Is there a way to compromise here? Any idea that’s not a parent = stranger to him 😩

Rationale: so that the little body can better cope with the vaccines? 2) any tips so the baby can better deal with the vaccines? Eg while they receive the shots is there anything that can be done so they don’t scream so much? Or after so they don’t have much side effects from the vaccines?

Someone tell me how they manage being a single mother as an associate in Big Law without completely relying on a nanny or day care. My kids are in school from 8 to 5. Moms, did having daycare at your gym help you to go more often? Did the environment help?

Hubby thinks that we can workout at home (peloton, weight bench, online classes, jogging stroller) or in our community gym & pool. But I'm excited to join a local sports club with lots of amenities (classes, squash, tennis, swim) and 2.5 hrs daycare / day.
I'm remote so getting out of the house occasionally would be nice, plus give baby some exposure. Baby will start full time 9-4 daycare soon though.
