You came here asking for advice on exit opps and got a debate on what tier your current firm is 😂 Anyway... making a similar jump, also at Accenture Strategy. Things I also weighted heavily in my decision: stability of the industry I’m in and consulting in general, as well as the types of projects we are selling in the next 1-3 years (not where I want to grow). Worst case you can always come back. Btw on the WLB: not sure if I buy that, you’ll likely work hard to get up to speed (industry, competitors, internal workings, etc.) for at least the beginning.

S& rightly understands that they need to do something to attract people away from MBB so they use pay to do it

seems a bit low, will you be taking a salary cut? Is there equity?

like

yeah thats Accenture Strategy just not T2

Ok cool y’all get paid more ACN don’t pay like thaaat refer me breh

T2 managers should be making 220 minimum, likely 220-275. Are you comfortable with a paycut?

Based on your title I'm assuming you're at Accenture Strategy. Is that really much of a bump? If not at Accenture please disregard

True. Our bonuses are trash. It's very sad

What are you making 4 years post mba as a manager now? I would expect 250 TC at least, no?

Gotcha. Well sounds like a good offer as long as you’re interested in the company. Also sounds like work life balance will be pretty sweet

What’s your current comp? This looks low. T2s typically pay 220-250k pre manager.

Yeah Alix does but not sure on the others. Y1 out of b-school you get $220k excluding signing bonus, profit share, relocation etc. - virtually everyone gets this. Y2 will vary significantly but will be even higher for everyone.

Feels kinda low. FWIW, left ACN Strat recently as a C. TC is 250 (company is killing it so bonuses are strong) I wouldn’t bank on the promotion happening - evaluate based on today. Personally I’d go back and ask for more. Idk if you were in a promo year but I was able to leverage that to get a pretty substantial amount more

Don’t hate on me plz. I’m planning to get an online or hybrid MBA with focus on information systems. I studied and worked in Control Systems Engineering and got into consulting at 27, manager at big4 now(33). My focus is to simply get better at what I do as I rise up the ladder. Would really appreciate any schools one can recommend. I didn’t grow up or studied in USA so really not sure which colleges might be better (?) than others.

Hi Fishes, Accenture has openings in their mobilization team under the ops division. I have been offered a role at CL9 with fixed component of around 15 LPA. I have 5.5 YOE. Is the HR lowballing me and would you have any feedback for the mobilization team. Thanks
