HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?
Thoughts? What could be going on here?

You sound like a delight to work with.
A dEYlight...
As an associate, you’re eminently replaceable, and I wouldn’t take that mindset.

Eminently, nice word. I had to google it 😊
Some titles can be shortened to their first 3 letters, eg Associate
Associate for a reason haha. Love it!
I haven’t had one partner even hint at pressuring our teams to return to a client site or office. And even if a dire situation did occur, there’s still a lot of approvals that need to take place so it won’t be the norm. Everyone I’ve worked with has been supportive and knows the default is work from home and continues to encourage taking precautions and do whatever is best for our health- mentally and physically.
Caveat: the above refers to working in the U.S. right now.

EY can never please some of you staff, I swear
I work in a non-US office that has opened up and it’s just the opposite - if you are going to the office, colleagues, especially the partners, challenge whether you really need to go.
Fair point. I should have clarified in my above post that I work in the US.
So the highlight of your weekend is drinking cheap wine and obsessing over work emails? That’s pretty sad.
It might just be your team. My teams hv been very accommodating.

Funny that you are “really annoyed” about an email, that doesn’t apply to you and hasn’t actually happened.
💯 disagree. You can’t do workpapers for me if you have the ‘rona. Keep being productive and it’ll be fine.
I didn’t realize how much fun this would be for me on a Saturday afternoon. Nothing like watching emotions come to life with low tech entertainment and a glass of 3 buck chuck! 🤣🤣
OP - You sound like a big weirdo.
I feel ya, as a manager im always open for the discussion. Maybe once or twice a week, as long as my team understands my expectations with wfh are higher.
