Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Wow. Same thing happened to me. And my first interview was literally over the phone doing scenario based questions (which was really hard to
Show them my thinking, but still managed) second was all zooms, super day crushed it then got a rejection letter. Don’t understand it either, but going to take it as a learning experience and apply again in 6 months. If you want to prepare together feel free to hop in my DMs. All my best!
1.5 years ago I advanced to final round at GS, pulled out all the stops, and was very confident I’d get it. I didn’t. Fast forward to now when I’m interviewing, I could see that I made so many mistakes: not being polished, not thorough enough, etc. in the past. My interviewing skills and confidence is just on another level now (with results to show), and I totally see why I didn’t do well 1.5 years ago. Sometimes you think you crushed it but you can’t know until you have improved.
