Well, in fairness, you're from the Midwest. So NYC was always going to maintain complete superiority. This just makes our job a little easier.
D2 nailed it.
We are mortals. We were born doomed.
See. And they laugh at me when I suggested sudden hair loss might be due to poisoning....
Someone else take it so we can confirm lol
When were we not doomed?
I also just got tested! My lead was high. Also from the Midwest...
Exactly D1 - California is more impacted than anywhere else in the US. Found several studies that show cesium in the fish, almonds and milk!
RBC Elements from Doctors Data
OP- my test was also doctors data. Are you going to chelate? I am so sorry for you. It is such a f'd up feeling to wonder about heavy metals in your body...
We'll glow in the dark.
D1 - I think it's a good idea! I'm sorry for you as well!! Have you started chelation??
The complete lack of science on this medical post is outstanding.
You are clearly very sensitive about this. I will let it all go and say you are right and I am wrong. You win.
D2 it's not exactly the most thrilling experience when you find out you're being poisoned by the environment and man made catastrophes. You're ignorant to think you're not being exposed to heavy metals in your everyday life. Test yourself and find out!
I think what D2 and I have been saying is that there has been no science linking Fukushima specifically to heavy metal poisoning in the US. I don't doubt there are other potential sources though -- if my insurance covers it maybe I'll get tested, although from what I'm able to see a single lab result isn't conclusive as there's no way to directly measure the levels of heavy metals within the body and we can only take secondary measurements corresponding to the heavy metals being eliminated from the body via urine/blood/hair.
DD1 - almost right. The heavy metals aren't eliminated that quickly - they are deposited into our muscles and tissues - which is how they build up and you experience toxicity. If you are frequently being exposed to a contaminant (i.e. Drinking water, compromised food source, etc.) then you likely have high toxicity which means it can be detected in your bloodstream at high levels as well - but the high blood levels can also be indicative of a recent exposure vs. an accurate picture of the full body toxicity.
There is a way to get an accurate picture of the total exposure in your body, but it requires a tissue sample.
Where?
Midwest US
Well, you're doomed but I'll be fine sipping my overpriced margarita on the west coast.
Wait what test is this!
