Recently got a job offer from KPMG UK in the Finance Transformation space. Accepted the offer on 7th Oct and it's going to be a month soon. The role requires migration to UK. Anyone in a similar scenario can guide around the timeline for the overall onboarding process (screening and immigration) ? The onboarding HR seems to be ridiculously slow.

Quick background - i am a chartered accountant with 6+ yoe in audit, accounting, reporting and transfer pricing.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.
