Recruiters: ever consider that spamming someone with calls and VMs to their personal and work numbers, as well as a text, all within 15 minutes, might have the opposite effect that you intended?

It's often hard to figure out recruiters. A lot of them seem to go through life convinced of their own importance. And that kind of clumsiness in communicating is part and parcel of how they carry themselves.

Sure, they blow up your phone every single minute up until they hook you and you are in the application process. Then, after you get rejected - their responsiveness does a complete 180 and they literally transform into a three-toed sloth 🦥 climbing the Empire State Building.

Hahaha 😂they think they are delivering the most important message

I recently saw on fishbowl someone talk about a new platform they called byebyerecruiters.com 😂 imagine what they did to get a bunch sick and tired of them to create a website hahaha

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
