Just tell them “sure as long as it’s not KPMG”
EYP1…best joke of the day, KPMG a place with talents…😂
Ask away!
Have you looked at their LinkedIn profile? It’ll tell you which Big4 😂
We also hire through contracts. You’re better off applying to the firms directly though.
Ey3 - Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, HCl
Im pretty sure its KPMG that does that
Ask them on LinkedIn messenger before a call. If they won't tell you, it's a WITCH, and probably cognizant.
Was a recruiter for an agency for a long time and had contract at EY so I was doing the same thing. They wont tell you until you send them your CV. Its to make sure you dont apply by yourself or they will lose their fee for finding a candidate if you’re already in the pipeline for the same role
Ask them.
Send them my way, I’ll take any of consulting role rn
Yes, ask for details and if the recruiter isn't willing to share, you might want to take a pass.
Food for thought...
Within consulting and industry, I recruit for senior/leadership-level roles. When marketing career options, I might connect with someone thinking about "job A," but the direction could change based on what I learn.
That's because my recommendation(s): encouraging someone to have an open mind/learn more, or something else, is based on what is that individual's best interests (and everyone else's) VS simply generating interview activity. This is *not bait and switch. Rather, it's customer-centric.
Recruiters who fulfill demand by sort of blindly generating interview activity almost always include false advertising and/or a lack of relevant information. Pushing "let's see how it goes." Other times, submitting LinkedIn profiles or actual resumes, without explicit permission. These recruiters view both sides of their market as commodities.
There are times when it makes sense to have conversations before details are shared.
Some of the roles I support require a signed NDA before I can share details. In representing "confidential demand," I don't simply reveal more to whoever has the right LinkedIn profile + a signed NDA. Less someone I already know, I need more information to determine if the conversations are worth having. If so, I'll share an NDA so we can proceed.
Final point. Where a little information goes a long way, I recommend a detailed LinkedIn profile (copy/paste resume content into your LI profile). Doing so helps to cut through the noise and improve (job) lead quality.
