If you're into golf, there's a set of golf simulators at the PGA store in the airport mall area. Otherwise, I've heard good things of the new Stone Arch restaurant for drinks in the mall.

I would appreciate any insight on management-side employment law in Dallas. I am a MLA at a large firm in LA pondering a move for financial/family reasons, but it doesn't seem like there are many open positions in DFW and I'm wondering if this area of the law is just not robust in Texas.

Can someone walk me through the Do's and Don't's of AA miles? I think they're a joke.

I have 65k miles and I could only pay for a one-way ticket from PHX-JFK. I had to book 1 leg with miles and the 1 with cash, but booking the other leg in cash was about 80% of the round trip in cash.

My mom has 12k miles that expire soon, transferring them would cost me $450. I can pay for a round trip with that cash but I can only pay for a trip to my kitchen with those 12k miles.

What am I doing wrong? 😂

Strategy & Ops at large tech company (non-FAANG) - 120K TC (San Francisco)

Rotational Program at Industrial Firm - 170K TC (Chicago)

Industrial Company:
- Would pay for grad school
- Comp is insane
- Work is more niche
- Company culture is rough
- MBB / tech exit
- smaller less known company

Tech Company:
- Cool company
- well known
- Enter tech early on
- Salary lower than other by a lot
- PM / Biz Ops exits

Both companies have good MBA placement. What would you do?

Hi! Is anyone hiring for mid/entry level in house recruiters either located in the San Diego area or remote? I have 2 yoe and have been doing full cycle recruiting for various creative and tech roles since day 1. Ideally looking for 70k+ base salary. I’m have no preference to the industry, though trying something I haven’t before would be cool. I’ve had final stage interviews with a few other companies, but due to the looks of the economy right now they have unfortunately put a pause of hiring.

Hello I am curious to know what people think of getting a masters degree in Data Science. I am looking at a program that is 32k which compared to others is not as expensive. I have experience with python and I work on my own projects but no professional experience. I am finding it extremely hard to break into an entry level data analyst role. I am hoping that a master degree would help with that process.

I know my productivity is effected by parental responsibility but I don’t feel that alone justifies the difference. I know our billable output isn’t drastically different.
