Regarding after retirement financial plans, what are your thoughts? With inflation and all, expenses will skyrocket. But most people have no pension. Have you planned something? NPS/mutual funds/pension plans/stocks? Each has good and bad points. Let's discuss the strategies and learn from each other. I am based out of India, so hoping for advice that is relevant to India.

Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.
What’s the WLB like? Good job security?
I know which one is coming home!!

Is TSLA going to be the catalyst?

Well, invest in large cap and mid cap MFs. Now they are at all time low, so best time to put in your money. Invest in an array of MFs every month and forget them till you retire. You would get at least 15% during maturity.
I rely on PF amount and have started NPS. Mutual funds are for short term goals which I wish to fulfill in 3-5 years.
@infy1 what is the strategy behind picking MF for short term? Sip or no? Is NPS enough for pension along with pf?
