I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!
Omgomgomgomg
He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

Not sure if there is a "theme". What would you say McK's is?
BCG tend to feature more open ended brainstorming and candidate driven hypothesis testing
In that sense, BCG is similar in my experience.
1) What would you consider/analyze
2) Here is some data on one of those. So what/now what?
3) Here's some other data. You synthesize the two and tie back to the question
4) Summarize and close the case

Don’t think we are market sizing heavy, but definitely expect quant in your interview (which usually comes in the form of breakeven or market sizing) in addition to qualitative questions. In that way, the types of topics you’ll see with us are comparable to the ones that McK and BCG mentioned above (i.e., don’t think you need to prepare that differently by firm).
PE presence doesn’t really play out in interviews beyond a potential case that says should you go/no go on an investment recommendation.
My advice would be to prepare both interview-led and interviewee-led. You may see a chart or two but you probably won’t for undergrad hires. You’ll see both styles but don’t go in expecting the latter from BB and the former from M (which is what may have been true many years back).
