I m selected 4 Moody’s shared services for Control Analyst which comes under IT Audit. I have done MBA, have 2 years of work ex as Software Engineer, done B.Tech in IT n currently working wid Deloitte USI n have recently been promoted n have 2 years of work ex wid Deloitte under IT audit. Have got offer from Grant Thornton India also n they are offering me 11.5 as fixed and 1 lac joining bonus. Does anyone know or think that if I ask 14 LPA 4m Moody’s, they can give me?

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

I have received offer letter from Optum Global Solutions India recently and I am seriously considering joining it(I also have offers from Deloitte USI and Verizon).
My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter. So I want to understand how the Flexi and Special Allowance are paid monthly. Can someone please help?

I have around 1 year of experience and i am not that experienced with negotiating salaries. I wanted to ask how do you ask for 2x or 3x hike on your current ctc as tbh sometimes i feel that i might not get a callback from recruiter if i ask for 2x hike.
