Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.
Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

Great work-life balance. Some really cool projects happening and coming up. Work culture is fine in most places, people are mature and want to get the work done without posturing and drama. Most people have other more important things going on in their life, usually family.
On the other hand, company culture is screwed, bonuses aren't a guarantee, pay is likely mediocre for most roles (but that's highly individual), and growth opportunities range from pretty good to non-existent depending on where you are.
I'm not unhappy, I get paid well and get tons of PTO. Hard to complain about much. I can understand why some people are disgruntled, though.
Staffing is sort of global now, but minimal travel. There's still a tilt towards staffing locally.
McKinsey - comp range for SD is probably $200-300k base, plus 30% bonus (which hasn't been fully paid out in years)
