^im with freelance TBWA. She’s been responsive to me, even with bad news. Also helpful when I asked for advice on helping a non advertising friend break in. She must have wrote like 3-4 paragraphs of advice. In my opinion, one of the best recruiters I’ve dealt with. And trust me...I know some bad ones.
Gonna post a defense of Barbara because she always responds to me even if it's to let me know I'm not a good fit for the position. Not to day it hasn't happened to the people who said that, it just hasn't been my experience.

Barbara was rather rude and abrupt with me, and acted like she knew more about my visa than I did. I chalked it up to a bad day and listened to my lawyer instead.

EVB is also in Oakland, if I recall. They haven’t been too hot these past few years...but who knows, maybe things changed.
