Big4 never gives 16% with no promotion unless you were severely underpaid. Source: former Big4
I’m guessing but I assume McK applied, interviewed, did well, got an offer, accepted
Consultant 1... there is always at least one of you
16% percent raise is really good unless you were severely underpaid for non promo
I can only wish that Deloitte would hire me
@D1 that's an outrageous assumption. McK found an ID in a airport bathroom and assumed the identity is probably what happened.
McK1 was probably at Deloitte, ever since MBBD, it’s easy to switch between the big4 consulting firms.
Need base numbers young man
@MCK1: how you get to Mck from Big4?
How underpaid were you
Sometimes they will give you a bigger raise to compensate for not promoting you
I got 17% once as an associate and was still making 10% less than new hires. So everyone’s right about the numbers
SA1 is also right cuz this was at KPMG...
16% sounds like a lot but at your level it probably isn’t. If you’re making 67k which may not be that far off, that’s only about 10700 which brings you to 77k which is close to what D brings first level btas at.
If you were told you would be promoted (which shouldn’t happen) and weren’t (which shouldn’t happen) you need to go find out why. Otherwise you’re looking at the exit and wasting your time
Sounds like op from kpmg
