Seeking advice on how to successfully transition to international tax. I have over 10 years of tax compliance experience working mainly on partnerships and some corps. I also have experience with various foreign forms (8865,5471,8858 etc). I have a CPA, but no JD.

If anyone has any thoughts on how someone like me can pivot, I would be grateful to hear them.

I am a self learned ux designer and working independently for my clients. Even though clients are happy with my work i feel they don't understand design much and i always feel there is a gap in my learning as there is no one to critique my work in design perspective. Need some advice. Recently joined my dream job, but the director I work for demonstrates toxic behavior. I have been only few months in this role and it would not look good if I start looking again. Hi all, had a situation I need some help with. PE fund owned interest in a bank that was a CFC that has 965 PTEP. Recently sold off part of it's interest and the bank is no longer considered a CFC. Under the new PFIC regs, I believe it qualifies as a PFIC. How would distributions be treated seeing as it would still qualify as a specified foreign corp?
