USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

I left Deloitte a few years ago so my numbers are likely outdated, but I believe $170k is close to, if not at the absolute top of the SC band. Might be able to squeeze a few more grand out of the signing bonus, but you're pushing $200k TC as a first year SC, which is quite excellent.
Yes, it's definitely high. I was expecting maybe 165/30 instead of 170/20.
Do you know what the range of signing bonuses could be? Does a higher base usually imply a higher or lower (or unchanged) likelihood of a high signing bonus too?
What’s the base offer? Have you considered leaving consulting? If you are worried about leaving money on the table, there is often better TC (and WLB) in industry and tech.
Base is 170k. I may leave after some years of experience at the manager level. I want to pursue management track or analytics strategy in the long run rather than forever as an IC. Plus I really like doing project based work for clients. It's enjoyable to come in, solve problems, network, etc.
But I am interviewing at some tech so we'll see.
Depends what the comp is because we don’t know where in the salary band it falls. But in general, always negotiate if you have not already.
I believe my comp will be on the high side of the SC band.
