Seniors’ attitude is the reason why people don’t deliver a good work product, and in fine quit. I try not to do that, but it’s hard.

If you believe that delivering good product is a reward you bestow on your employer and not a duty of your position, then maybe this job isn’t for you.

Maybe they have an attitude because of your bad work product

Lot of disgruntled seniors in here

like

I feel bad for your senior. Your post isn’t even coherent.

Wut

lol perhaps guys let’s say you’ve accepted a social norm in law firms that is “a senior can shit on you simply because of his title”. I didn’t. Makes me believe you have nothing more in life than your job and the title that comes with it. And just fyi, I’ve been operating above class year for three years straight, so your comments are irrelevant.

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

I left my old job the end of January (due to compensation) and hate my new job. I don’t sleep and am constantly stressed. I have been interviewing since May, but I can’t seem to find a good fit that has an insurance Plan that fits my needs. I am thinking about reaching out to my old job (very small and tight knit) to see if there’s a position available for me still. They told me there would be when I left…what is the best way to go about this?

I’m up for a promotion at work and I have no idea how much to ask for since it’s not a standard position. Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. Anybody in managed services have a similar position to compare

People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??
