So I feel like I am at a crossroads in my life. I don't mind learning a new skill set to pivot out of the human services area but I don't know where to start. I know that I want to get a certification or two but would getting certifications in data analysis software would be the way to go (right now I am on a break from my Master's program and I really want to pivot into a career that will have some staying power). Any advice would be great.

I have been doing tech consulting (actually deving, full stack), but want to get into something more technical, and have my trajectory be product owner or architect vs business manager. I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

Let’s talk about wrongful termination. The other day I was fired in the middle of the day without any warning. My colleagues called me because they were confused on why the Talent Manager dismissed me from the chat. I didn’t know what they were referring to. Job transition question: I recently accepted an offer for a new role with Merrill Lynch, the following day I was fired from my previous employer. I haven’t filled out the updated work history background check info yet. The reason for termination was due to performance expectations not being met. Should I reach out to my new employer and let them know that I’ve been terminated? Should I just put the termination update on the background check form and leave it at that?
